4You want a treadmill and you want to run
By A Regular Joe
WHO IS THIS FOR?

There are people like you and me who want to get in shape, and then there are avid runners who will tear down a treadmill piece by piece before telling you that its junk if it doesn't cost $3,000 and come from a certain brand.

I'm the type who just wants to run - I am overwieght again, feel terrible all the time, but live in a climate where it is hard to run and have a busy life which makes it even more difficult if I can't work out on my own time. I also want a good quality treadmill that isn't going to break on me, but I really don't care if it has a thousand features I'll never use. That's why I finally settled on this treadmill. It has a good strong motor, does the basic stuff you'd expect from a treadmill, has a quality construction for its price point, good customer service, and is recommended at several different stores for a no frills treadmill.

ASSEMBLY

The treadmill is a beast - plan on 3-4 people to help you get it in the house if you don't want to pay for installation. Apart from the sheer weight it is easy to put together, you just attach the legs and the control panel and you are set to run. It has enough extras to be interesting, but is well built.

RUNNING

The belt turns at various speeds. Get on. Run. Pretty straight forward. As someone who isn't overly concerned about all the details we have been very pleased with the treadmill. The only major difficulty is moving the treadmill. Assemble it where it is going to stay. We ended up deciding to move it from one room on the same level to another, just about 20 feet, and that was a serious chore. I hope we never move because I can't imagine getting it up the stairs.

As long as you are looking for a good basic treadmill, and have the $800-1000 for quality, you'll be happy with this. The 400-600 range really seems like junk.

4/5 stars.

4Well-made and Hardy Treadmill
By C. M. Poole
This is my second treadmill purchase. I bought it for a good friend because I own a more expensive Livestrong model and I was just as impressed with this one. The quality of construction is nice and hardy, not cheap and rickety like some $300 treadmills I've seen. It doesn't knock or vibrate, as long as it is placed properly on a nice sturdy flat surface. They have added USB functionality, which is great. I didn't have that on my previous one. Make sure to apply lube to the belt every so often and you may want to also purchase a mat to go underneath to protect your floor.

I have owned my treadmill for two years and it still runs as new as when I bought it, which is why I chose to buy another Livestrong treadmill (this one). I got free shipping with Amazon Prime and it arrived very quickly. I was contacted by a delivery company who carried it into my home for me. The purchase went very smoothly.

5Great treadmill BUT...
By Gabriel N. Saulter
Their customer service is bad. The treadmill itself is a great machine, but it came missing a cap for the handle bar that protects the sensor (right one). I have sent them two e-mails: one asking to be contacted by e-mail and the other contacted by phone. I haven't gotten anything but an automated e-mail back saying that they will contact me within 24hrs.It's been about three weeks. Aside from that one screw hole didn't line up correctly, but that isn't an issue because there is three other screws that hold it. I don't plan on swinging on the bars anyway. SO basically I would recommend buying it BUT YOU ARE TAKING A GAMBLE! If anything is wrong with your machine they will not be there to help you and you will lose out on $$$.
